AMPEX DIS 260 JUKEBOX- Automated Cartridge Library

The DIS 260 automated cartridge library is designed to match the broad range of high performance instrumentation data acquisition and subsequent real time data processing applications at an affordable price. Consisting of one DIS 164i Tape Drive and the automated 264 cartridge library, the DIS 264i system provides and optimum balance of system performance in terms of throughput data rates and on-line data storage.

In addition, the DIS 260 library is interface compatible with the Ampex DCRsi ruggedized family of recorders providing a migration path for the current DCRsi users.
